The My Space/Our Place workshop recently visited Clermont State School, where Year 11 and 12 Visual Arts students were tasked with making photographs around the town. The students seemed happy to focus on the textures of buildings and the architecture of the area, as there were not many people out and about at the same time we were. Students were encouraged to experiment briefly with a few different camera formats before settling on one that suited their style of shooting. Looking at the results, 16:9 and 1:1 were very popular formats.
